Fr. Pio invites the faithful to consider the blessings of God, when things seems difficult, feel abandoned by God or when the cross on our shoulder is too heavy to bear. We encouraged to sit down for a bit and begins to go over the numerous ways God has lavished His gift and blessings on us. 

Fr. Pio invites the faithful not to let their heart be trouble, the Lord invites us to put our trust in Him and to entrust to Him all our cares and worries and to have faith in Him. Our cares and worries are numerous especially in this time of lock down. The early Christian took care of each other needs but tension arose among the group within the christian community, the Christians of Greek origin who were newly converted to the faith complained about the unfair treatment of their own widows in the daily distribution, so the Twelve Apostles to resolve the problem, ordained seven Deacons, who will be responsible for the material needs of the Christian communities, while they the Apostle will focus on the spiritual need of the people, on spreading the word of God.

Fr. Pio speaks about the joy of faith. In this difficult times of the corona virus pandemic many are in much suffering and pain, this is reason for sadness, but sadness is the opposite of joy. and in spite of all the suffering and pain, we must banish away all sadness, yes we suffer and we are in pain, but we should rejoice because the suffering and pain unites us more closely to Jesus who suffered and died on the cross for us.

On the 2nd Sunday of Lent Fr. Pio speaks about the Transfiguration of Jesus on mount Thabor, Jesus manifested His Divine Glory to three of His disciples, St Mathew describe the scene that Jesus was transfigured before them, His face shone like the sun, His clothes were as white as light, this happen before the face of Peter, James and John. This same disciples whom later on would witness His sorrows and agony in the garden of Gerthsemane,now in this even of transfiguration of Jesus Christ, the disciples catch a gleam of the glory of paradise.

On the 1st Sunday of lent, Fr. Pio speaks about how Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil, in the person of Christ we Christians were tempted. Christ gives us examples of how we are to fight against the devil, as Christians we must engage in spiritual combat with the devil, Christ willed to to be tempted in the desert in order to experience our own temptation and give us a remedy against them.

On the 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Fr. Pio speaks about the importance of observing the Commandments, serving our Lord not only exteriorly, but more importantly, with the heart. Christ came not to abolish the Law, but to complete it. Christ gives us a new understanding on true service of the Lord, laying emphasis not on the exterior observance, but the interior dispositions that move us to commit sin. Let us begin to examine these dispositions, that we may begin to uproot sin, fight our passions, and relinquish deeply seated vices. Thus we shall begin to serve our Lord with a pure heart, worshipping Him in spirit and in truth.

On the feast of the Presentation of Our Lord, 40 days after His Birth, we also celbrate the Purification of the Mother Mary. Mary brins the Light of Life into the world to open up for us the doors of salvation.

Father Pio explains the importance of light in a natural sense but more importantly the Light of Jesus Christ the Word Made Flesh and the light of the Good News of the Gospels.

Father Pio confirms the great value of the Virtue of Humility in today's world which gives witness at all times to the Truth Jesus Christ and the real me. St. John Baptist  shows then true humility by pointing out the true Lamb of God.

On the feast of the Baptism of Jesus by St. John in the River Jordan. We remember the day of our birthday but how many remember the day every year when we were made adopted children of God and to celebrate this each year to renew your baptismal vows to gain an indulgence.

On the feast of the Epiphany or Manifestation of Our Lord as the Messiah, the Son of God and Saviour of the world. This is revealed in the Adoration of Jesus of the 3 Wise Men, the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan and the Wedding Feast of Cana in Galilee.

On the feast of the Holy Family, Father Pio tells us about the Holiness of Family Life. We must imitate the Holy Family at Nazareth. God chose Mary and Her protector St. Joseph as both chaste and pure to accomplish God's will through the family.

On the feast of the Immaculate Conception, Father Pio speaks about dignity of the Our Lady conceived without original sin. "Who are you, O Immaculate Conception?" asks St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe? Who is She, raised above all the angels and saints? She is precisely the Immaculate, full of grace, and fittingly, the Mother of God.

On this glorious feast of Our Lady, let us renew our consecration to Mary, the Mother of the spiritual life. Let us pledge ourselves to Her entirely, offering Her acts of veneration, love, and above all, all our actions, that we may proffer Her the greatest honour, manifested through the imitation of Her virtues. Thus, we shall in the shortest, surest, and most perfect way, conform ourselves to Christ, Who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 

"O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!"

On the Solemnity of Christ the King, Father Pio speaks about Christ's Kingship, which embraces all of creation. Christ, having redeemed us by His Passion and death, also reigns over our hearts from the throne of the Cross. As those who stood by the cross of Christ on Calvary, we, too, must make a decision - to acknowledge Christ as King of our hearts, or to reject Him through obstinate sin. Let us come before the Cross of Christ in humility, professing our love and dedication. Let us acknowledge our sinfulness, and with confidence, ask Him to come and rule over our hearts. Christ shall surely hear our petition and unfailingly grant us salvation. 

Father Pio speaks about the historical and spiritual aspects of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. At the centre of our worship and living, the Holy Cross,  lovingly embraced, becomes not only the instrument of our salvation, but also the means of establishing the reign of Christ in the world.

Father Pio asks the Children about the differences today for "Gaudete Sunday". We see the rose coloured vestment with the rose candle lit. We are here in the third Sunday of Advent waiting for the coming of the Lord. We must rejoice for the Lord is nigh. The Catholic Church encourages us today to be happy in receiving the Good News of the Gospel.

What a wonderful Feast today. Our Lady of Guadalupe is not just Patroness of the Americas but the Protector of the Unborn Babies at risk of Abortion today. We hear a great homily of the Apparition in 1531 where Our Lady came to "crush the head of the serpent of child sacrifice". This is what we pray for nowadays.
