“Mary is the most sweet bait, chosen, prepared, and ordained by God, to catch the hearts of men. The devotions we practice in honour of the glorious Virgin Mary, however trifling they may be, are very pleasing to Her Divine Son, and He rewards them with eternal glory.”
St. Catherine of Siena

Friday, 29 June 2018 Psalm 58 Wednesday at None:  “God Is Our Strength,”  My Daily Psalm Book.   From the Roman Breviary: “Bloodthirsty enemies....The two divisions of this psalm correspond very well to the two sentiments between which the soul wavers in this hour: the press of enemies and trust in God.   The temptation of the devil are forcefully presented.”  p. 444

Friday, 22 June 2018 Psalm 56 Wednesday at Sext: “A Prayer for Mercy,” My Daily Psalm Book. From The Roman Breviary: “In the shadow of Your wings... In content, this psalm is the continuation of the previous song (Ps. 55). Trust in God wins out. This psalm, too, we can very well sing in the name of the Church: Thy Kingdom come!” Psalm 57 Wednesday at Sext: “Unjust Rulers,” My Daily Psalm Book. From the Roman Breviary: “Their Deaf Judges....The devil has his hirelings on earth. Just as he directed the fury of the high-priests against Jesus, so he has always stirred up rulers, princes, governments, to fight his battles against God’s kingdom. In this psalm we pray, quite without any desire for vengeance: ‘That You would humble the enemies of holy Church..., ’” p. 441

" Seek refuge in Mary because she is the city of refuge. We know that Moses set up three cities of refuge for anyone who inadvertantly killed his neighbor. Now the Lord has established a refuge of mercy, Mary, even for those who deliberately commit evil. Mary provides shelter and strength for the sinner."
Saint Anthony of Padua (1195 - 1231)

About Radio Immaculata

St Maximilian strove throughout his life – with great success – to bring this message to the world through mass media; he published newspapers and periodicals, broadcasted on the airwaves, and even had plans for a movie studio! As an apostolate of the Marian Franciscans, Radio Immaculata exists to continue St Maximilian’s important work. To this end, our programming schedule is structured around the Holy Rosary, which will be prayed on air four times a day, every day, so listeners can tune in and pray together with the friars, wherever in the world.
